BTS has officially announced a new documentary series, “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star” on July 12, 2022, and will be released only on Disney+ in 2023; the exact date has yet to be announced.
K-pop group BTS is currently focusing on solo activities. The series will show a more up-close and personal side of the group and take viewers on a journey of how BTS has evolved over the years and the story of its music.
The group released an announcement video for their upcoming documentary to be released on Disney+Hotstar. Titled BTS Memorial: Beyond the Star, the documentary will trace the seven-piece act’s journey from its early days in 2013 until recently.

BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR
The series is the second chapter of BTS. will be released on Disney+ following a deal between Hib and Walt Disney.
This original docu-series follows the incredible journey of 21st-century pop icons BTS. With unprecedented access to a vast library of music and footage from the past nine years, the series will feature the daily lives, thoughts, and plans of the BTS members, as they prepare for their second chapter. The docu-series will be available exclusively on Disney’s streaming services next year.
As announced in October, BTS will serve their mandatory military service. Jin will enlist on December 13, with the group expected to reunite in 2025.
